The 10th International Zinc Conference will be held on October 9-11, 2024. This is the tenth edition of the Zinc Conference.
The participants will be hosted by the Palace in Mierzęcin, woj. Lubuskie. The previous two editions of the meetings dealt with the effects of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The galvanizing industry has long been facing a significant decline in demand for galvanizing services and rising costs of producing zinc protective coatings. At the same time, there are a succession of challenges that are coming from the European Union regulations that are coming into force: new BAT conclusions, reduction of CO2 emissions, inevitable changes regarding the use of technologies that are considered a threat to health and the environment. The organizers of the conference recognize all these changes, which is why they decided to address the topic of sustainable technological solutions and decarbonization.
