Dr. Ing. Ewa Langer – graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology, where she also received her PhD in technical sciences (2012). Since 2006, she has been working at the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials as the Leader of the Paint and Plastics Research Group.
She specializes in formulation development and property testing of paints and varnishes. She carries out national and international research and development projects, and is a co-author of technologies implemented in industry (including UV, anti-static paints, for polyolefin substrates).
She is the author of more than 75 publications, 100 conference presentations, monographs, book chapters, 9 patents and many applications. She is a member of the Polish Corrosion Society and SITPChem. She lectures within the framework of the “Friendly Science” program and at postgraduate courses at the Cracow University of Technology. She has won many awards, including Innovator of Silesia 2022 and Laurel of Innovation 2020.
